Your pet’s emotional and physical well-being is prioritized with every visit. We put the patients first!

My veterinary career began in 1992, starting out as a receptionist and working my way up to technician and practice manager. I’ve been managing veterinary practices since 1996. In 2008, I jumped to the human side and became an emergency room nurse, but always kept one foot in the veterinary world. In 2016, Dr. Michalk and I were given an opportunity to purchase Coit Hedgcoxe Animal Hospital with the goal of making life better for the pets we serve, and their humans. Our team is like family, and I treasure the opportunity to provide a place that supports their growth and development as well. We call our home Misfit Ranch, and it’s home to many cats, dogs, and even orphaned squirrels, raccoons, and possums in need of rehab and release from time to time.

Hi there, I’m Amanda. I have been working in veterinary medicine since 2010, when I started as a veterinary technician. I have been with CHAH since 2019. I currently have 4 cats (Lionel, Luda, Luna, and Lando) and 1 dog (Moo the Great Dane). I value the relationships with clients I have built over the last 6 years at CHAH and look forward to building more relationships with staff, clients, and patients! I am passionate about preventive medicine ensuring all animals are happy and healthy. In my free time I enjoy traveling with my spouse, biking, off-roading in our Jeep, and caring for my massive collection of indoor and outdoor plants!

Howdy, I’m Bri! I have worked in vet hospitals since 2015, starting as a kennel technician here at CHAH. In 2018, I transitioned to reception and continued to work here until I left for Florida to attend Nove Southeastern University and earn my Marine Biology degree. In Florida, I worked as a receptionist at both a small animal hospital and an exotic animal hospital, though I never fully left CHAH and would help remotely when I could. After graduating, I returned here as a receptionist and gradually progressed as I gained experience. I’m so happy to be part of the CHAH family! I have 4 cats whom I love more than anything: Arlo, Fish, Flora, and Lorax! In my free time I enjoy hiking, kayaking with my husband, interior design, styling outfits for myself and others, and studying fashion history for fun.

My name is Celeste and I’ve had the joy of working in the veterinary field for 15 years, the last couple of years being focused on Emergency Medicine until I joined the CHAH team. I love all animals but have to admit cats have stolen my heart! I have 5 beautiful kitties at home: Marmalade, Annabelle, Stella, Junebug and Amalthea. When I’m not caring for pets, I enjoy sewing, painting, and playing games or watching movies with my husband. I’ve been with CHAH for about a year and I look forward to helping the team learn and grow!

My name is Kate and I have been with CHAH since 2024. I have been an animal lover my whole life, no matter the species! Thanks to my love for my own assortment of pets, I have cared for many different types of animals, including cats, dogs, rodents, birds, fish and reptiles. I have also had fun working with wildlife, helping rehabilitate protected birds of prey such as hawks and owls! I am so happy to be part of the CHAH family! I look forward to continuing to care for you and your fur babies.

My name is Kat and I’ve been in the veterinary field for almost 9 years. I joined the CHAH family 5 years ago, back in August 2020. My wonderful husband and I have 2 Jack Russell terriers and 2 cats: Milo, Bruce, Zim and Shadow. In my free time I love playing video games and watching professional wrestling. I have a 26-year-old son who is one of my greatest blessings. I thank Jesus Christ every day for my life! Being at CHAH is awesome, I work with a great group of people and love our 4-legged patients!

My name is Ashley and I’ve been working in the veterinary field for 3 years. I joined CHAH in 2022 first working in the kennel as a kennel technician during my summers off from college. I recently graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology degree, and I just finished applying for veterinary school! I have a Jack Russell terrier named Pepper. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies with my family and reading. I am so grateful to be a part of the CHAH team and for everything that they have taught me and look forward to everything that they will teach me in the future.

My name is Avery. I have been at CHAH since 2017 and worn many hats since I started! I started out in high school as a kennel technician and now have also worked as veterinary technician and receptionist! I’ve bonded with so many people in my time here and learned a lot! In my free time I love to hang out with my husband and our 7 adorable pets. I also love anything to do with Harry Potter!

My name is Linda and I’ve worked in vet hospitals for a couple years. I’ve been with CHAH for almost 2 years! It makes sense that I love working with animals as I have 4 pets at home: Murphy, Luna, Randi, and Savannah. I love throwing myself into my hobbies! I especially love gardening, painting, and traveling. I’m happy to be part of such a great team!

Meg Muller here. I’ve worked in the small animal industry for just under 9 yrs. I spent 5 years at Hill’s corporate office in supply chain management, 1 year with Nutro, and then the last 2.5 years here at CHAH. I grew up around horses and dogs, and my current furry baby is my 79 pound “puppy” Henry, so it’s safe to say I really love animals! I enjoy traveling, golfing, sewing, spending time with friends, and of course taking Henry for walks.

Hello, I’m Roger! I’ve been working with animals for 2 years now but have owned large dogs my entire adult life. I have 2 dogs, Ragnar and Rusty, a Cane Corso and Boerboel Mix, respectively. I love working here and building connections with both clients and their owners! I especially love my one-on-one time playing with all our boarding dogs and cats. In my free time I love basketball, watching sports, and playing on my PSS5. Although I can’t do it in Dallas, I also loved boogie boarding back in Hawaii!

Hi, I’m Stefany! I’ve been in the veterinary field for 3 years now. Over the past few years, I’ve gained experience through both volunteering at an animal shelter and working in kennel technician/internship positions at different animal hospitals. I’ve been with CHAH as a Kennel Technician since October 2024. I earned my Veterinary Assistant Lv. 1 certification in May 2024 and currently I’m a full-time student in my sophomore year of college and I’m very eager to continue my education on the veterinary-track. I have one doggie at home, a tiny, but feisty, chihuahua named Lucy. In my free time I like going on long walks and runs with her by my side. A few hobbies of mine include listening to music, reading, going to local cafes, and tending to my house plants.
